Your Visit
If you are coming for a day visit:
Treat this much like an ordinary visit to your regular physician. Please make notes of any and all sleep and health related symptoms and conditions so that our staff can help to improve your sleep.
If you are coming for an Overnight Visit:
You may be asked by your Sleep Specialist to come in for an Overnight Visit so that we can better understand your condition. During this visit you will stay in our specially prepared Sleep Facility, which is fully equipped with private rooms for your comfort and convenience.
What to bring:
- Sleeping clothes
- Personal toiletries, a bathroom and shower are included in each room
- Any prescription or over the counter medications you are currently taking
- Change of clothes
- Insurance card
- Your completed Patient History Questionnaire
- Optional items:
- A favorite pillow and blanket
- A sleep mask
- Reading material or other items for before bedtime
- Snacks and decaffeinated beverages
- Music which helps you to fall asleep
- A teddy bear or other “Friend”
In general, it is a good idea to bring items which are part of your normal night time routine. To best study your sleep, it is important to recreate the conditions under which you would normally sleep at home. This includes diet; please eat and drink normally prior to your visit.
